Maddy Clark...

Maddy Clark is an award-winning nineteen year old singer-songwriter from the Washington, DC area who has been writing music since she was thirteen.  Maddy studied songwriting at the Interlochen Arts Academy and her songs have consistently earned acclaim in songwriting competitions, including the 2016 Bernard/Ebb Songwriting Awards where she was named Best Young Songwriter. A three-time honoree in the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest, her recent song, "A Dance" garnered a second-place Silver Medal in the Adult Contemporary Category, while "Something to Lose" earned an Honorable Mention. With her sharp, incisive lyrics, irresistible melodies, and irrepressible vocal delivery, Maddy's music calls to mind a range of artists and styles, from Taylor Swift-ian country pop, to brooding Adele-like ballads, to Ed Sheeran's solo acoustic wizardry -- but the sound is uniquely her own.   When she is not in school, Maddy performs locally at cafes, coffee shops, open mics, farmers markets and other venues, and her music can be found on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, and CDBaby.   Check out the "Events" page for upcoming appearances, and be sure to like her Facebook page and follow her on Twitter for all the latest news on her music, upcoming releases, and live performances.
